Description	:	OELWEIN - Funeral services for Marvin A. Hines will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, at the Hintz-Geilenfeld Funeral Home, Oelwein, with the Rev. Mark Beesley officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Oelwein. Friends may call from 3 until 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Hines, 66, died at his home Sunday, Oct. 12, 1997, after a lengthy illness. He was bom July 10, 1931, in Oelwein, the son of Almond and Lylas (Carnical) Hines. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and American Legion Ross Reid Post 9, both of Oelwein. Survivors include his wife, Bonnie; one son, Allen (Pam) of Watkins; one daughter, Vickie (John) Howe of Prairie du Chien, Wis.; three grandchildren; and his mother, Lylas Hines of Oelwein. He was preceded in death by his father, Almond; and two sisters, Lela and Evelyn. A memorial fund has been established.
