Hover. With them he came to this county in the year 1847. At the early age of 17 Mr. Hover offered his service to his adopted county and was enlisted in Company C, 12th Regiment Wisconsin Infantry. Read More	Civil War: Company C 12th Regiment Wisconsin Infantry Union Ole H. Hover was born at Modom Mundahal, Norway, on the 18th day of August 1843. He was the only child of Mr. and Mrs. H.A. Hover. With them he came to this county in the year 1847. At the early age of 17 Mr. Hover offered his service to his adopted county and was enlisted in Company C, 12th Regiment Wisconsin Infantry. On January 21st 1867 he was united in marriage with Miss Eliza Holverson of Iowa County, Wisconsin. In the fall of the same year they moved to the state of Kansas and settled on a farm in Greenwood County near Lapland. At this place Mr. and Mrs. Hover lived until nineteen years ago when they moved to the city of Eureka, where Mr. Hover made his home until his death. He was born in Norway, Aug 18, 1843, coming with his parents to American in 1847. At the age of 17 he enlisted in the Union Army from Wisconsin. In that state he was married to Miss Eliza Holverson Jan 31, 1867. In the same year they came to Greenwood Co., Kansas, settling near Lapland, where his family was raided, and where he lived until moving to Eureka, 19 years ago. He leaves three sons and one daughter to mourn the loss of a loving father, Mrs. Ena Errickson, of Virgil, Harry and William Hover, of Eureka, and Oscar Hover, of Hamilton. Mr. Hover was a deeply religious man, a pioneer member of the Norwegian Lutheran Church, and always faithful in its services.
