Queen Victoria McCullough, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Kiser was born in Iowa, January 10, 1865, and died July 10, age 58 years, four months, and 10 days. She was married to John McCullough and to this union were born seven children, six boys and one girl. Four of the boys and the daughter survive their mother. Two of the boys, Fred and Floyd, were killed in the World War in France, and their bodies rest in the beautiful Graceland Cemetery at Burlington. Mrs. McCullough was a member of the Methodist church of this city and a member of Mrs. Jackson's Sunday School Class. In recent years she has been unable to attend services regularly, but her intensions were good, and she loved the chruch, and did what she could. She leaves to mourn her loss, four sons, Walter, Harry, Frank, and Ira all of Burlington, and one daughter, Mrs. Etta Freeman, of El Dorado. She also leaves 18 grandchildren, one great grandchild, two brothers - George and James Kiser of Burlington, and one sister, Mrs. Moorman of Iowa. Obit provided by Mike Murdock.
