As is well known Mrs. Roberts has been in poor health for years and since the death of her son Jesse has been growing rapidly worse. Deceased was 51 years old and leaves a husband and one son, Ishmael, to mourn her loss. Her sisters, Mrs. Towner and Barrett of Butler county were also at her bedside when the end came. The funeral will be held Sunday at 10 a.m. from the home. ````````````` July 28, 1899, p. 4, col. 5 Obituary Mrs. William Roberts who died July 14th, was born in Marion county, Arkansas, March 16, 1848. Her maiden name was Rachael Williams. She came to Nebraska with her parents in 1854, and was married to Wm. Roberts March 6, 1869, in Butler county, Nebraska. Two children were born to this union, one of whom survives her. She leaves a husband, son, two sisters and two brothers. Her remains were laid to rest in the Fullerton cemetery, Sunday, July 16th, the ceremonies being conducted by Rev. Campbell of the M. E. church. A large concourse of friends followed the remains to their last earthly resting place. ____ Card of Thanks To the friends who so kindly administered to our wants during the sickness and death of wife and mother we desire to extend our most heartfelt thanks. ROBERTS ISHMAEL ROBERTS ____ In Memoriam WHEREAS, God in the mysteries of his providence (ever kind) has removed from our midst to his brighter home agove, the companion of our Brother Workman, Wm. Roberts, therefore be it Resolved, That in his present severe affliction that every brother of the Ancient Order of United Workmen of Lodge No. 63 of Fullerton, dearly sympathizes and tenders to our brother their mutual grief and condolence in his sorrow. And as sorrow is for a night and joy cometh in the morning, we wish our brother a long life and finally a happy reunion with the departed saint. Resolved, That these resolutions be spread on the minutes of Lodge No. 63 of Fullerton, and that a copy be presented to our brother and the city papers for publication. O. H. LUMRY E. M.
