Mrs. Amanda Hulitt, aged 36 years, wife of Mr. John Hulitt, of Rainsboro, died at her residence Sunday last (Sept. 4th) after a two weeks illness. This simple announcement will carry with it as great sorrow as could pages of obituary notice. Belonging to a family with perhaps the largest connection of any in Southern Ohio, she was known and beloved by a largo circle of friends in this and adjoining counties, who will sincerely mo her loss. Mrs. Hulitt was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry W. Spargnr, of Rainsboro, and a sister of Messrs. Johu and Henry Spargur, well known business men of this city. The circumstances attending her death were peculiarly distressing and sad, it being the result of premature confinement. Mr. Hulitt, and her family generally, will have the sincerest sympathy of the community in their bereavement. On Monday afternoon, after services at the residence, conducted by the Rev. Gray, pastor of the M. E. church, of which she had long been a member, her remains were followed to the Hillsboro Cemetery by an immense procession of relatives and friends.
