Description	:	Daughter of Reuben and Elizabeth Ann [Tom] Miller. Reuben was b. 1807 in Maryland and d. 22 Aug 1848 in Lucas (now Fulton) County, Ohio. Elizabeth Ann [Tom] was born in Somerset Co. Penn. to David and Mary [McQuilling] Tom, who was a sibling to the other McQuilling pioneers around Delta. Reuben and Elizabeth were married in Wayne. Co., Ohio July 24, 1831. "The History of the Delta, Ohio Area" (1990 p. 270) gives the following on Rachel's mother: "Elizabeth Ann Tom was b. 18 Aug 1811, Pa. d. 17 May 1855." "Obituary - Mrs. Rachel Ann Loomer... "Obituary - Mrs. Rachel Ann Loomer daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Miller was born in Wayne county, Ohio, March 18 1836 and departed this life at the home of her daughter Mrs. Chas. E. Smith of Lyons, Dec. 13, 1918, being 82 years, 8 months and 25 days old. At the age of 7 years she moved to Fulton county with her parents. In 1852 she was united in marriage with Wm. McQuillin and to them were born two children, Mrs. John Stout of Toledo and Mrs. Joseph Falor of Delta. In 1857 she was left a widow by the death of her husband and in 1862 she was united in marriage with Geo. P. Loomer and to this union were born three children, Mrs. Chas E. Smith of Lyons, Daniel O. Loomer of Toledo and Martin N. Loomer of Virginia. Mrs. Loomer was one of a family of eight children of whom one brother D.T. Miller, survives her. Her latter husband having preceded her in death, she leaves to mourn her departure, one brother, two sons, three daughters and a large number of grandchildren and other relatives. Funeral services where held at the Beulah church Sunday December 15, Interment in Saulsbury cemetery. Card of thanks - We desire to express our sincere thanks to the friends for the kindness and sympathy shown us in our late bereavement. The children and relatives."
