Description	:	Rachel Glasscock Bowen, 83, of Crewe, VA, went to be with the Lord on May 7, 2015, after a long battle with dementia. Preceded in death by her mother and father, Pattie Hite and "Tom" Glasscock; brother, Frankie Glasscock; and daughter, Deborah Easter. She is survived by her loving, devoted husband of 64 years, Amos E. Bowen Sr; daughter, Wendy Bowen; son, Amos E. Bowen Jr.(Lynn); brother, James Glasscock; sister, Shirley Baird; grandchildren, Jamie Easter (Becky), Jessica McFadden (Keith), Brian, Eric and Lori Beth Bowen; great-grandchildren, Kaylee and Drew Easter; and many nieces, nephews and in-laws. Rachel moved to Crewe where she was an active member of Nottoway County Democratic Party, a deeply caring person, a frequent volunteer and very active in the community before her illness.
