Description	:	Oldest children of Nicholas "Nick" Stedman Johnson and wife, Elizabeth "Betsy" Jane Bovender Johnson of Wilkes County NC. Named for her maternal grandmother, Rachel Brown Bovender. She never married. She lived with her parents until they died and kept house for them and was their primary caregiver. After their deaths. she lived alone for the rest of her life. She was the only child mentioned in her father's Will and she inherited all of his household furnishings and livestock and farm supplies. She received a child's share with her siblings in the sale of their... Buried in old part of cemetery near church building where there are many unmarked graves according to church members.
