Jolley Sr., 71, Montpelier, Ind., former Lima resident and retired receiving clerk for the Sunshine Biscuit Co. in Lima and Columbus, died at 6:10 a.m. today in Memorial Hospital. Mr. Jolley had been visiting his daughter, Mrs. Harold Stelzer Sr., 2220 Merit Ave., and had been in the hospital the last five days. A native of this community, he and his father, Cass M. Mr. Jolley had been visiting his daughter, Mrs. Harold Stelzer Sr., 2220 Merit Ave., and had been in the hospital the last five days. A native of this community, he and his father, Cass M. Jolley, operated a nitroglycerine factory on the site of the old McBeth Park many years ago. He was married Aug. 14, 1902 to Floss B. Bonham, who survives. In 1940, he and his family moved from Lima to Columbus, living there until 1949 when he retired from the Sunshine Biscuit Co. after 28 years of service. The family then moved to Montpelier. While in Lima, Mr. Jolley was active in the First Baptist Church. Surviving besides his widow are a son, Ralph C., Williamsport, Pa.; two daughters, Mrs. Stelzer, and Mrs. V. E. Foster, Dallas, Tex.; a sister, Mrs. Iva Jolley Hixenbaugh, Route 1, Lima; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The body will remain in the Chiles & Son Funeral Home for services at 2 p.m. Monday. The Rev. Dr. E. W. Bloomquist, Youngstown, former pastor of the First Baptist Church here, will officiate.
