Miss Lagant also played the Lohengrin wedding march, to the strains of which the bridal couple marched to a place in the center of the living room, and the lines were read by Rev. G. M. Bing of Nora, who used the double ring service. The bride was arrayed in a beautiful white taffeta gown, and the groom wore a conventional dark gray suit. After congratulations by the thirty guests, mostly near relatives of the bride and groom, a dainty wedding lunch was served. Mrs. Corman has lived in the Cadams vicinity all her life, and after graduating from the public school, taught several terms in the local schools. Mr. Corman, whose home has been near Cadams, bears a reputation for honesty and thrift that will insure the happy couple the good will of all. After the wedding the couple left for a wedding trip. ==================== Ralph Earl Corman, the son of William Arthur and Elmina Joy Corman, was born near Cadams, Nebraska, July 31, 1909. He passed away February 21, 1979 in Chandler, Arizona, at the age of 69 years, 6 months and 21 days. June 3, 1936, he was united in marriage to Dorothy Thayer at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lovell Thayer. Three daughters and a son were born to this union. Earl was baptised and joined the Nora United Methodist Church in 1944. A retired farmer since 1975, he and his wife have enjoyed traveling. Taking an active part in his community, Earl served at various times as a 4-H leader, a trustee of the Nora United Methodist Church, a member of the Extension Board and as an officer in the Farmers Union Local. He was a member of Superior Lodge #121 A.F. & A.M., Olive Chapter #63 O.E.S. and the Superior Elks Lodge. Preceding him in death were his parents, a sister, Evelyn, and two brothers, one in infancy, and Clifford, who died serving his country in 1943. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; three daughters, Mrs. Jack (Beverly) Hull of Fremont, Mrs. James (Marcia) Mellott of Loveland, Colorado, and Mrs. Don (Joy) Wilson of Atchinson, Kansas; a son, Kenneth of Superior; two sisters, Hazel Burns of Mankato, Kansas, and Mrs. Joyce (Fern) Williams of Englewood, Colorado; two brothers, William of Hardy and Herbert of Oroville, California, and nine grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday, February 26, at Megrue-Price Funeral Home Chapel in Superior. The Rev. Clair Kess and the Rev. Don Wilson officiated. Burial was at Evergreen Cemetery in Superior.
