Description	:	Ralph Punt, 33, of rural Sioux Center was found crushed to death under a tractor alongside a county road Friday afternoon. The victim apparently died instantly of a broken back and crushed chest when the tractor overturned on him after rolling off a steep grade a mile south and two miles west of Sioux Center. He was about a mile from his home. He was about a mile from his home. The accident was discovered by a passing motorist, John Davelaar of Sioux Center, at about 2:00 p.m. Funeral services were held Monday at the First Ref. church, Sioux Center. Mr. Punt, father of eight children, was born June 9, 1932 on the farm where he lived at the time of his death. He married Arlene Rozeboom Aug. 20, 1952 at Carmel and served in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955. He is survived by his wife, four sons and four daughters; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry A. Punt, two sisters, Mrs. Lawrence Groen and Miss Dorothy Punt, 4 brothers, Lloyd, Henry Jr. Donald and LeRoy. The fatal accident is the first on Sioux County roads this year, according to sheriff Harry Dykstra, who investigated the accident, together with State Patrolman Miller , together with State Patrolman Miller Anderson of Sheldon.
