Gamble, 85, who died Monday, August 9 in an automobile accident. The Rev. Robert Wagner officiated at teh service and burial was made in Restlawn Memory Gardens in Huron. Gamble was born April 5, 1891 to Mr. and Mrs. Henry Gamble at Parker and moved with his parents to the Wessington area in 1901. He graduated from a business college in Sioux Falls where he later married Eldora Robb, March 18, 1913. They lived on a farm north of Miller for more than 40 years, moving to Huron several years ago. His wife preceded him in death in April, 1975. On December 13, 1975, he married Martha Goehring at Blunt. Gamble was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge, Farmers Union in St. Lawrence and past member of the school board and township clerk. Survivors include his widow, and six daughters, Mrs. Shirley (erma) Miller, Mud Butte, S.D., Mrs. Orville (Lorraine) Todd, Agar, Mrs. Colin (Mildred) Steele, Blunt, Mrs. Harold (Anita) Morris and Mrs. Norman (Edith) Nisick, both of Richland, Wash., and Mrs. Victor (Darlene) Mishaw, Houston, Tex., nine grandchildren and one great-grandson; one brother, William of Brookings; and two sisters, Mrs. Edith Spicer, Huron, and Mrs. Addie Johnson, Glendive, Mont. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Dorelda Blackburn adn two sisters.
