She was united in marriage to Leslie Loyal Lange in 1940. Ramona was the mother of eight girls and four boys. Following the death of her husband in 1971, she relocated to Florida, becoming very active in the DAV Auxiliary member. She was awarded Outstanding Auxiliary of the year in 1997.
