Description	:	Randall (Randy) William Quiram, son of the late William (Bill) and Lela Quiram, was born August 20, 1948 in Porterville, California and went to be with the Lord suddenly Friday morning, September 8, 2016. Randy was raised in Terra Bella, CA with three brothers, Gary, Steven & Dennis Quiram. He graduated from Porterville High School and Porterville Community College where he received honors as a star football player and was later inducted into the P.C. Hall of Fame. Read More	Randall (Randy) William Quiram, son of the late William (Bill) and Lela Quiram, was born August 20, 1948 in Porterville, California and went to be with the Lord suddenly Friday morning, September 8, 2016. Randy was raised in Terra Bella, CA with three brothers, Gary, Steven & Dennis Quiram. He graduated from Porterville High School and Porterville Community College where he received honors as a star football player and was later inducted into the P.C. Hall of Fame. After graduation from Fresno State College in 1972, began a very successful career at Monache High School in Porterville as a teacher, coach and Athletic Director. He was married to Sherry Aanestad for 33 years and they had two sons, Landon and Taylor. Randy was a faithful and loving husband, father, and a valued member of his church and community. He loved hiking, backpacking, riding his motorcycle, and singing in the church choir. Some years after Sherry's death, Randy was blessed with a joyful marriage to Janice Summers from Bakersfield for 14 months prior to is passing. He was a man of conviction and honor, loving, kind and gentle to all. He was a happy, funny and caring man who loved the Lord and served him well. He will be dearly missed by all of us. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 18, 2016 at St. John's Lutheran Church, 4500 Buena Vista Rd, Bakersfield, CA 93311. Published in The Porterville Recorder on Sept. 17, 2016
