A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Officiating, Rev. Randy Kelley. Randy was a native of Randolph County, retired from the City of Asheboro Water Department as assistant superintendent after 33 years of service and was a member of Parks Crossroads Christian Church, where he enjoyed worship with his church family. He was a Graduate of Coleridge High School, Class of 1960 remaining very close to his classmates throughout the years, and had attended NC State University. Always ready to share a joke, Randy had a great sense of humor and a sharing personality. An avid golfer, Randy often played in tournaments at Pinewood Country Club and in Myrtle Beach. He was also a third generation member of the Farmers Mutual Board of Directors. Randy was preceded in death by his daughter Angie Hussey, grandson, Patrick Hussey, and parents, Burton and Mary Ruth Hinshaw Macon. Survivors: wife of 52 years, Jennifer Chriscoe Macon, of the home, sister Janice M Cheek, and husband Randy, of Bennett, brother, Lawrence "Larry" Macon, and wife Pat, of Salisbury, nephew, Aaron Cheek. Condolences may be made online at www.loflinfuneralservice.com. Arrangements by Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur. In Lieu of flowers or food, memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donors choice. A memorial celebration of Randy's life will also be held at a later date at Parks Crossroads Christian Church.
