Description	:	Randy Alan Pottorff, 54, of 725 Ellis Ave., died at 7:25pm Sept. 13, 2010, at Ottumwa Regional Health Center from injuries as the result of a motorcycle accident. He was born Aug. 1, 1956, in Ottumwa to Robert and Arvella Miller Pottorff. He married Donna LaRue March 3, 2000. He had served with the U.S. Navy, statined in Italy. He was born Aug. 1, 1956, in Ottumwa to Robert and Arvella Miller Pottorff. He married Donna LaRue March 3, 2000. He had served with the U.S. Navy, statined in Italy. He was a member of ABATE of Iowa and loved spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving are his wife, Donna; six children, Matthew(Nicki)Pottorff, Steven(Jennifer)Mounlavong, Heather(Chase)Kellar, Sonya Mounlavong, Shane Mounlavong, Jaime Mounlavong; seven grandchildren, Calissa Kellar, Katelyn Jennings, Layne Pottorff, Lexie Smith, Keaton Pottorff, Gabbi Mounlavong, Chase Kellar Jr.; his mother Arvella Pottorff; two sisters, Dorothy Throckmorton and Carol Palmer. He was preceded in death by his father; a brother, Danny; and his grandparents. We will all miss you and love you. Funeral services will be 1pm Friday at Reece Funeral Home with Randy Schmitz officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery with military services conducted by O.B.Nelson Post #3 American Legion and Walter B. Schafer Post #775 Veterans of Foreign Wars. Visitation will begin at 10am Thursday with the family present from 6-8pm Thursday. Memorials may be made to ABATE of Iowa Down Biker Fund.
