Description	:	Randy Delaine Jackson, of O'Neill, Nebraska, passed away January 31, 2014 at the Good Samaritan Society, Atkinson, Nebraska. Randy was born on July 9th, 1953 in O'Neill, Nebraska to Fern (Walton) Seger and Delane Jackson. Randy graduated from O'Neill (NE.) Public Schools in 1971. On October 26, 1974 in Orchard, Nebraska Randy married Patsy Odom, and they resided in O'Neill, Nebraska. To this union they welcomed 4 children. Read More	Randy Delaine Jackson, of O'Neill, Nebraska, passed away January 31, 2014 at the Good Samaritan Society, Atkinson, Nebraska. Randy was born on July 9th, 1953 in O'Neill, Nebraska to Fern (Walton) Seger and Delane Jackson. Randy graduated from O'Neill (NE.) Public Schools in 1971. On October 26, 1974 in Orchard, Nebraska Randy married Patsy Odom, and they resided in O'Neill, Nebraska. To this union they welcomed 4 children. Randy worked several years at Foree Tire, followed by many years with the City of O'Neill, Nebraska and the Recycling Center. He was also owner of Randy's Tire Service with the help of his son, Brandon. Randy took much pride in his tire business with many friends being met along the way. Randy was a member of the St. Pat's Booster and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Randy never met a stranger. He spent many hours at local coffee stops visiting with several people. In 1999, Randy suffered a stroke which took away his ability to walk, but this didn't stop him from going out and about. During this time, Randy spent the majority of his time at Fox's Food Plaza, Triple R Tire and Fox Bros. shop. Randy used his motorized wheelchair to get where he needed to go, or where he shouldn't have gone. For instance, getting stuck in the gravel and suggesting to his wife that she push him out with her van. Or how about the time he got stuck in the fresh tar and went to his mother's house to have her clean it off before he went home and his wife saw it. Despite his stroke, Randy never forgot a face, although he might not have remembered your name. Randy's greatest enjoyment was his grandchildren, all 16 of them. He carried much pride in them. Randy enjoyed watching them grow up and participate in various activities. Randy was known by many and will be missed by all. Randy is survived by: wife of 39 years, Patsy Jackson; daughter and their spouses, Stacy and Wes Shoemaker of O'Neill, Nebraska, Shawna and Rob Maher of Omaha, Nebraska and Erin and Warren Couch of Inman, Nebraska; son and wife Brandon and Megan Jackson of O'Neill, Nebraska; grandchildren, Kylie, Brant, Tate and Ethan Shoemaker, Johnathan, Dylan, Lauren, Avery, and Hayley Jackson, Bryson, Peyton, and Claire Maher, and Kenna, Blake, Keigan, and Bergan Couch; sisters and husbands, Sharon and Arnold Hall and Patty and George Summers both of Page, Nebraska; brother and spouses, Ralph and Jeanetter Seger, Kevin and Sue Seger, David and Cindy Jackson all of O'Neill, Nebraska, Gary Jackson of Mitchell, South Dakota, Rick, Rodney, and Doug Jackson and a host of family and friends. Raandy is proceeded in death by: parents Fern and Ralph Seger and Delane and Florence Jackson, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral Services were held Tuesday February 4, 2014 at Faith Community Church, O'Neill, Nebraska with Pastor Steve Randolph and Norbert Krieger co-officiators. Burial was in Prospect Cemetery, O'Neill, Nebraska.
