Read More	Reporter, The, Nov 5, 1946 Mrs. Larson Dies Suddenly at 79 Of Heart Attack Mrs. Minnie Larson 79, for the past 15 years a resident of this community, died suddenly of a heart attack Wednesday night as she was being taken into a room in the local hospital. Planning to leave the next day or so for Minneapolis, Mrs. Larson was stricken at her home. A physician was summoned and he ordered her taken immediately to the hospital. Emergency treatment failed to revive her. Rites Monday Funeral services were held on Monday at the Bethany Lutheran church, where Mrs. Larson had long been a faithful communicant. The Rev. M. C. Thompson officiating. Burial was in the South Walnut cemetery with the Martin Funeral home in charge. Serving as pallbearers were Julius Skow, Charles Hemmingsen, Joe and Ed Joyce, Art Johnson and Peter Miller. Born in Denmark. Mrs. Larson was the former Minnie Mortensou and she came 10 America in her youth, in 1887 she was married at Jewell to Chris Frederickson and the young couple resided there for some time. Later the family lived in the Ringsted vicinity. Mr. Frederickson died a number of years ago and in 1913 his widow married Louis Larson, who died in 1925. Larg Family Mrs. Larson is survived by five children, including Mrs. Anna Korleski. now of Des Moines. Mrs. Maud Buschof Long Beach, Calif., Mrs. Ray Wright, also of Long Beech. Walter Frederickson of Minneapolis, whom Mrs. Larson was planning to visit this week, and Ray Frederickson of Waseca, Minn. Three children preceded, their mother in death. Bertha, 7, a baby aged six months, and Mrs. Dan Larson 19. Mrs. Larson was a friendly, sincere and generous person, devoted to her children and grandchildren, and always interested in their welfare and activities. She was unusually active and capable for her years, and on the day of her death she called at the local newspaper offices to arrange for her papers to be sent to Minneapolis for a few weeks. She raised her family conscientiously and well, teaching them to live good Christian lives, and she sacrificed much that they might enjoy a good home environment and the comforts she could provide. Her unexpected death is a sad shock not only to her children, but to her many friends, who will miss her cheery greeting and neighborly ways. Church Serves Dinner Following the funeral service, the Ladies Aid of the Lutheran church served a dinner to the many relatives who attended the last rites. Mrs. Larson leaves 14 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
