R. Roberts home. Mr. Robinson had not been in ill health so his death came as a shock to relatives and friends. His wife had preceded him in death by only four months, succumbing May 24 of this year. He was born February 29, 1884, at Cedar Rapids, Nebraska. He grew to young manhood in that area and came to Garden county in 1914. He has since been a resident of the Lewellen area. December 27, 1916, he was united in marriage to Miss Pearl Paisley. They homesteaded in the sandhills north of Lewellen and. in 1921 moved to a farm west of Lewellen, residing there 18 years. Since that time they have been residents of Lewellen. Mr. Robinson was active in many community activities and was a member of the Lewellen Methodist church. He and his wife had only one child, Duane Robinson, now of Denver. Other survivors are a brother William Robinson of Albion; three sisters, Mrs. Charles (Bess) Corcoran of Gering, Mrs. Vera King of Cedar Rapids and Ruby Robinson of Los Angeles; one granddaughter and other relatives and friends. Preceding him in death were his wife, three brothers, Elwin, Clint and George Robinson and one sister Gertrude. Rev. Truman Bachenberg had charge of the final rites. Burial was in the Ash Hollow cemetery beside his wife.
