Read More	Garden County News (Oshkosh, Nebraska), Sep. 27, 1934, Page 5 James Elwin Robinson was born in Boone county, Nebr., near Cedar Rapids, on February 15, 1882, where he continued to live until 14 years ago, when he moved to Garden county with his family. He passed away at the family home seven miles east of Oshkosh on the farm where he had resided since coming to this community Tuesday morning, September 25, 1934, at the age of 52 years, 7 months and 10 days. [Editor: James was the son of Arthur A. and Arletta Robinson.] On July 3, 1911, he was united in marriage to Miss Pearl Robertson, at Edholm, near Schuyler, Nebr., and to this union five children were born, being Woodrow, Herschel, Franklin, Ruth and Donald, all of whom were making their home with their parents at the time of Mr. Robinson's death. There remain to mourn his departure, besides his faithful wife and family, his aged mother, Mrs. A. A. Robinson; four brothers and four sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Handley of Gering; Ray of Oshkosh; George of Cedar Rapids; Clinton of Gering; Mrs. Vern King of Primrose; William of Cedar Rapids; Mrs. Bessie Corcoran and Mrs. Ruby Bellamy of Gering. His father and one sister, Grace, preceded him in death. Funeral services are being held this afternoon at the Methodist church in Lewellen by Rev. W. B. Pardun, pastor of the First Methodist church of Oshkosh, of which church Mr. Robinson was a member, and interment will be made in Ash Hollow cemetery, with I. W. Wright in charge of arrangements. The pall bearers will be A. C. Peterson, Jim Copley, Gus Bradley, Ira Paisley, Jim Patterson and George Jackson. The music will be by the Lewellen mixed quartet.
