Pallbearers are Gerald Gipp, John Gipp, Charles Gipp, Dean Gipp, James Gipp, Donald Moen, Loren Moen, Dennis Woldum, Father Richard Woldum, Scott Kerr, Dennis Kerr, and Mitchell Gipp. Ray Woldum was born Jan. 13, 1921 in Decorah to John and Cecilia (Teslow) Woldum. He graduated from Decorah High School in 1939. He worked at Bell Aircraft in Buffalo, N.Y., before entering the Navy. He was in the service from 1943-1945. Mr. Woldum was the former owner of Ray's Inc., a wholesale business. On June 3, 1950, Mr. Woldum married Ruth Kerr in the Congregational Church in Decorah. Mr. Woldum was an active member of the Congregational Church, holding several offices in his lifetime. He was also a member of Elks and the Silvercrest Country Club, and a former member of the American Legion. He is survived by his wife: one son, Randall Ray Woldum of Decorah; one daughter, Rhonda Kay (Mrs. Gary) Bakken of Decorah; three brothers, Telford Woldum of Pinnellas Park, Fla., Hubert Woldum of Grand Forks, N.D. and Norman Woldum of Decorah; and two sisters, Ruby (Mrs. Albert) Moen of Decorah and Jeanette (Mrs. Alvin) Gipp, also of Decorah.
