Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at Walker-Hoening Mortuary (333 W. Main St.) of Napoleon from 6pm to 8pm. Funeral service will follow on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at St. Paul UMC (232 W. Washington St.) of Napoleon at 1pm with pastor Jennifer Miller officiating. He died on July 10th, 2021 at Norwalk, Ohio. He was the husband of Barbara C. Rasey who preceded him in death in December of 1998. Ray was the last of 10 children born to Ray Rasey and Lily Rasey of Henry County, Ohio Ray is survived by his three sons Keith A. Rasey, Todd D. Rasey and Stephen D. Rasey. He has 10 wonderful grandchildren and 7 beautiful great grandchildren. Ray was a banker for 45 years in Ohio and was a banking consultant for the Cleveland Federal Reserve during the Savings & Loan crises of the 1980s. He was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin graduate banking program. Ray and his wife Barbara were members of the Pettisville Missionary church and the St. Paul United Methodist church. Ray was a founding board member of the Monroe County Community College. A veteran of the Korean War and a member of the VFW and American Legion posts in Napoleon, Ohio. He coached AAU and Federation baseball in the Toledo, Ohio area for a number of years in the 1960s. An avid Ohio State football fan. Go Bucks! Visitation will be Wednesday July 14th from 6 pm until 8 pm at the Walker-Hoening Mortuary (333 West Main St.) of Napoleon. A funeral service will be on July 15th at 1 pm at St. Paul United Methodist church (232 West Washington St.) of Napoleon. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Napoleon.
