Survivors include his wife, Betty; three daughters, Carolyn Hermann of Waukee, Beverly Betz of Johnston and Barb Oder of Grimes; a son, Randy Burger of Tucson, Ariz.; two brothers, Harold Burger and Harvey Burger, both of Waukee; two sisters, Margery Stamp of Lewis and Shirley Mitchell of Littleton, Colo.; and nine grandchildren.
