Description	:	"Raymond Charles Haskin, son of Elmer Francis and Bertha Louise (Schultz) Haskin, was born Jan. 19, 1928, at Creighton. He attended rural School Districts 21 and 24 in Knox County and Creighton High School. He farmed with his father for eight years before joining the U.S. Army in January 1952 and, after serving his country, was honorably discharged in December 1953,. On Oct. 27, 1951, Ray married Rena Maxine Brandt at O'Neill. Following his discharge from the Army, they lived and farmed near Royal, Verdigre and northeast of Creighton, before moving to Antelope County in 1959. They farmed near... "He was preceded in death by his parents; spouse Rena in 2008, sons Tommy and Ron Haskin; grandson Logan Haskin; great-grandson Hudson Springer; four sisters and two brothers."
