Description	:	Hedrick Journal 8 July 1964 front page Raymond Dewey Spears, Age 65 of Oskaloosa, passed away at Mora, Minnesota about 8 o'clock Tuesday morning. Mr. and Mrs. Spears accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Harold Wood left Oskaloosa Monday to spend a few days vacation in Minnesota. they stopped at Mora, Minnesota 60 miles north of Minneapolis and Ray went to the washroom. He failed to return and an investigation disclosed that he had been stricken with a heartattack and died suddenly. He was the son of Edgar K. and Martha Knowler Spears. On December 4 1918, he was united in marriage to Beulah Lisk of Delta and to this union were born four children. Surviving are his wife, 3 sons, a daughter, a sister Della Munden who resides in the state of Washington. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren.
