He passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2008, at the Golden Living Center in Tekamah, Nebraska, at the age of 83 years. Ray attended school in Decatur. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Saturday, November 1, 2008, 2:00 p.m. at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Decatur, Nebraska. MILITARY HONORS: VFW Bataan Post No. 3304 and American Legion LaFrenz Post No. 15 VISITATION: Friday, October 31, 2008, 1 - 8 p.m., the family receiving friends from 5 - 7 p.m, a PRAYER SERVICE will be held at 6:30 p.m. all at Pelan Funeral Home in Tekamah.
