MICHAEL PURCELL. The bride was attired in a street length dress of powder blue wool anith nailhead trim, small black hat with shoulder veil and black accessories... She was attended by the bridegroom's sister, Mrs. Sylvester Eagan, who chose a costume of fuchsia alpine cloth with seguin trim and black accessories. The bridegroom was supported by his brother, George Purcell. The organist, Mrs. Edmund P. Casey, played the nuptial music and PHILIP MCGARRIGLE of Calais sang Millard's "Ave Maria" , "On This Day" and "O Holy Night" during the mass. A wedding breakfast was served to the immediate families at the Park Hotel after the ceremony. Covers were laid for 20. A beautifully decorated bride's cake centered the table and was flanked by tall tapers in candelabra. Bouquets of assorted mums completed the arrangement. A toat to the bride was proposed by Very Rev. Michael O'Brien to which the bridegroom responded. Mr. and Mrs. Purcell left later on a short motor trip. They will reside in Milltown at their home on Green Street.
