Funeral services for Raymond Karst and Harry Schleining, of Huntley Project, MT., farm youths who were killed when their light truck and a coupe collided between Worden and Pompeys Pillar Saturday night, were held Tuesday afternoon in the Huntley Project High School gymnasium. The services were consecutive. Three ministers officiated. The Karst service was first. The Rev. H. J. Dietrich, pastor of the German Lutheran Church at Worden, and the Rev. August Schiller, pastors of the German Congregational Church of Billings, MT., were in charge. Mrs. Dietrich and Miss Marie Baum, accompanied by Miss Cecilia Dietrich, sang :Saved by Grace". Pallbearers were Alex Yakel, Henry Debus, Henry Glantz, Leo Baum, Henry Debus, Henry Giantz, Leo Baum, Herman Becker and Henry Hill. The Rev. W. S. Traweek, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal Church at Huntley, was in charge of the second service. Mrs. L. Bullette, Mrs. Steele Nelson, Curtis Howard, Loren Graham and Wiley Rorex, accompanied by Miss Dietrich, sang "Asleep in Jesus" and "Nearer, My God to Thee." Pallbearers were Henry Nafts, Joseph Schleining, John Nagel, Jacob Wittman, Victor Layhr and Mearl Pickens. Many friends of the tragedy victims attended the services. Burial of the Karst youth was in the Pleasantview Cemetery at Ballantine, MT. Burial of Schleining was in the Huntley Cemetery, in Huntley, MT. The bodies had been taken from Smith's Funeral Home here to Worden shortly before the services.
