Raymond Kissinger was born Jan. 16, 1921, to Ray J. and Bertha Kissinger near Glenvil. He graduated from Glenvil High School. After graduation he farmed and fed cattle near Glenvil. Raymond Kissinger was born Jan. 16, 1921, to Ray J. and Bertha Kissinger near Glenvil. He graduated from Glenvil High School. After graduation he farmed and fed cattle near Glenvil. He met his wife, Irma Atkinson, in Hastings. They were united in marriage on Oct. 8, 1944, at the Baptist Church in Hastings. She preceded him in death on April 27, 2001. Raymond and Irma were confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Glenvil on April 23, 1950, and remained longtime members of that church. To that union, two sons were born, Stephen and Craig. They spent many winters in Scottsdale, Ariz. Raymond was currently a resident of College View Assisted Living. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Charlotte Ellermeier and Doris Frazer, and their spouses; and brother-in-law, Robert Loskill. Survivors include sons and spouses, Stephen and Karen Kissinger of Glenvil, and Craig and Marie Kissinger of Glenvil; grandchildren and spouses and great-grandchildren, Karla and Randy Harms, Jordon and Erika of Glenvil, Kevin Kissinger, Ella, Nathan, and Zachary of Glenvil, Jerald and Erin Kissinger, Kameron, Natalie, Bailey, Dawson, Avery, and Emerson of Glenvil, Brian and Amy Kissinger, Derek, Jamie, Brooke, and Taylor of Minden, Sheryl Kissinger and Jet Thompson of Kearney, Jacqueline and Rob Broomfield, Megan, Nicholas, and Maxwell of Overland Park, Kan.; and a sister, Bonnie Loskill of Hastings.
