Description	:	Funeral service for Raymond Hoff, 87, of Sioux Falls and formerly of Eureka will be 2:00 pm, Friday, October 21, 2016 at Abiding Savior Free Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls. A second service will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Carlsen Funeral Home in Eureka. The Rev. David Olson will officiate. Burial will be in Eureka City Cemetery. Raymond died Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Sanford Hospice Cottages in Sioux Falls. Raymond Hoff, son of Jacob and Martha (Strobel) Hoff was born May 24, 1929 on the family homestead east of Eureka, SD. He farmed all of his working years on the family homestead. He was united in marriage to Erma Nitschke on September 30, 1956 in a rural Lutheran Church northeast of Ashley, ND. In 2008, he and his wife, Erma and son, Perry moved to Sioux Falls. Raymond tried his best to live his life by the word of the Lord. He enjoyed reading the Bible and farming. Being respected by others was very important to him. He was a great supporter of church, and charity and mission work. Grateful for having shared Raymond’s life is his wife of 60 years, Erma; children, Perry (Terri Jo) Hoff and Linda Hoff; brother, Richard Hoff and sister, Bernice Oster.
