| Description | : | First wife of Lieut. Col. Cyrus Hussey (1838-1926). Mother of Florence Anna Hussey. Daughter of Hezekiah Hodgson and Anna (Hoskins) Hodgson. Rebecca married Cyrus Hussey on December 24, 1859 in Highland County, Ohio. Rebecca's husband joined the 48th Ohio Infantry in 1861 and would become a Lieutenant Colonel. He ended his service with the War on September 1, 1865. Three days after Cyrus enlisted, their new born daughter, Florence, died.
