Mrs Cribb was born Sept 27 1881 in Carvers Bay section of Georgetown County daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Stewart Avant. After her marriage she lived in Georgetown and later moved to Kingstree. The family returned here in 1930. She had made her home with her son Willie M Cribb since the death of her husband in 1947. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
