Description	:	From the Morning Sun Paper From Morning Sun paper Last Rites are held for Mrs. Rebecca Jarvis Last rites for Mrs. Rebecca Jarvis, 85, whose death was mentioned in last weeks paper, were held from that afternoon, conduced by the pastor, Dr. E.F. Kimmelshue. Burial was at Elmwood cemetery, the pallbearers being Frank Blair, Fred Congrove, Henry Lambert, John McDaniel, Elmer Caparoon and Gaylord Kerr. Packwood of Bucyrus, Kan., Pfc. Richard Kerr and wife of Obispo, Calif., Mrs. Ida Hannan of Monmouth, Ill., and Leona Wendell of Mediapolis. Miss Rebecca Smith was born May 18, 1859, on a farm near Elrick, Iowa. She was married to T.E. Hannan August 18, 1874, and was the mother of four children, two passing on in infancy; Mrs. P.E. Packwood of Bucyrus, Kan., and Mrs. E.R. Kerr and a step-daughter, Miss Lydia Hannan of Morning Sun; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren survive her. T.E. Hannan passed away on September, 15, 1898. She was married to J.R. Jarvis of Morning Sun in 1907. Mr. Jarvis, a grandson Harold Lyle, and a stepson Wm. H. Hannan, preceded her in death.
