Description	:	Funeral services were held at the Baptist church Saturday afternoon at two o'clock for Mrs. Rebecca Whitt, conducted by Rev. Earl Edmonds. Burial was in Rose Hill cemetery. Rebecca Gibson was born near Trenton, Missouri, January 22, 1850, and passed away at her home in Albion, January 13, 1937, at the age of 87 years, 11 months and 22 days. She was married to James Whitt in Missouri in the year 1869, joining the Baptist church at that time. They moved to Nebraska in 1884 settling on a farm near Cedar Rapids where they lived until moving to Albion... Rebecca Gibson was born near Trenton, Missouri, January 22, 1850, and passed away at her home in Albion, January 13, 1937, at the age of 87 years, 11 months and 22 days. She was married to James Whitt in Missouri in the year 1869, joining the Baptist church at that time. They moved to Nebraska in 1884 settling on a farm near Cedar Rapids where they lived until moving to Albion in 1910. To this union nine children were born, seven daughters and two sons. Her husband, two sons and two daughters preceded her in death. Left to mourn her death are five daughters, Mrs. Pete Wagner, of Omaha; Mrs. Lew Louden, of Albion; Mrs. Robert Todd, of Albion; Mrs. Jess Simpson, of Fullerton; and Mrs. Herman Meusborn, of Brighton, Colorado, on brother, Francis Gibson, of Brocksburg, Nebraska; and one sister, Mrs. Nancy England, of Montana. There are also twenty grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren. Many other relatives and a host of true friends also mourn her loss. She was a loving wife and mother.
