Read More	Rebecca Lathrop May 29, 1953 - April 14, 2015 OTTUMWA — Rebecca “Becky” Jane Lathrop entered into the arms of Jesus at the age of 61 April 14 at Cox Medical Center Branson with her daughter by her side, holding her hand. Becky was born on May 29, 1953, in Ottumwa. She was the daughter of Roy and Margaret “Betty” (Dowd) Lathrop. She grew up in Ottumwa and attended high school and college there, where she received a bachelor's degree in business. She worked for the railroad as a switchboard operator and Apac Customer Service. She moved to Branson from Ottumwa. Becky attended Woodland Hills Family Church for the past nine years, which is where she became a follower of our Heavenly Father. She also volunteered and served with Jesus Was Homeless and loved advocating and volunteering for Selfless Blessings. Becky was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, and her grandchildren were her life. Becky is survived by her daughter, Katy Gray and husband Brett of Hollister; her father, Roy Lathrop of Denver, Colorado; brother, Terry Lathrop of Branson; sister, Kathy Foudree and husband Art of Ottumwa; and two grandsons, Landyn Gray and Josh Lathrop. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Lathrop. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Woodland Hills Family Church in Branson; Pastor Ted Cunningham officiating. Visitation will precede the service beginning at noon Friday. A celebration of life in Ottumwa will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family. Her daughter Katy would like to thank everyone who has supported, prayed and most importantly been a friend to her mother. Becky loved everyone she came in contact with, and she never met a stranger.
