Description	:	Ms. Rebecca "Betty" Jane Fildes, of Hartford, Arkansas, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ today. She was a devoted wife/mother/grandmother/great-grandmother/sister/friend. Betty was 85 years old. She was a faithful member of Jamesfork Baptist Church in Mansfield, Arkansas. Betty was like a grandmother to many children at JFBC, as she was the nursery caretaker for many years and LOVED every minute of it. Betty set a fine example of how a deacon's wife should act and be and we are all better for having known her. She is greatly missed at JFBC, as well as her husband, Aaron. She was the daughter of the late Luther and Nell Hogue of the Jamesfork Community, near Mansfield/Hartford, Arkansas. She was the 2nd of 3 children born to the Hogues. At age 13, she met her future husband: Aaron Fildes. Four years later, she married her dear friend. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; 1 son: David Fildes; 1 brother: J.C. Hogue; 1 grandson: Joseph Keller. She is survived by her beloved husband: Aaron Fildes; her children; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; 1 sister: Melba Simmons; church family and many, many dear friends. A private graveside service for family was held at Jamesfork Cemetery on Saturday, June 22, 2013, a Celebration of Life was held at Jamesfork Baptist Church following the burial.
