Description	:	Rebecca Jane Tharp Rebecca Jane Tharp, daughter of Hiram and Drusilla Stocker, was born near Unionville, Iowa, November 22, 1869, and died at her home near Bloomfield, December 25, 1945, at the age of 76 years, 1 month, and 3 days. On October 15, 1886, she was united in marriage to William Tharp. Eight children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Tharp, two of whom, Ellis and an infant girl, preceded her in death. Read More	Rebecca Jane Tharp Rebecca Jane Tharp, daughter of Hiram and Drusilla Stocker, was born near Unionville, Iowa, November 22, 1869, and died at her home near Bloomfield, December 25, 1945, at the age of 76 years, 1 month, and 3 days. On October 15, 1886, she was united in marriage to William Tharp. Eight children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Tharp, two of whom, Ellis and an infant girl, preceded her in death. The living children are: Homer of Davenport, Iowa; Harry of Mystic, Iowa; Sherman of Davenport, Iowa; Winfred and Glenn of Bloomfield; and Mrs. Blanche Reece of Oskaloosa, Iowa. Mrs. Tharp is survived by her beloved companion of the years, William Tharp. She is also survived by two sisters: Mrs. Amos Robinson, of Moulton, Iowa; and Mrs. Clint Paxton, of Moravia, Iowa; and by one brother, J. S. Stocker of Blakesburg, Iowa. Her father and mother, two brothers and one sister preceded her in death. Mrs. Tharp became a Christian many years ago and joined the First Christian Church of Numa, Iowa, and she remained a Christian and a member of that local congregation until her death. The funeral service was conducted by the Rev. L. R. Hudson, on Thursday, December 27, 1945, at 2:00 o'clock p. m. The burial was in the I. O. O. F. cemetery.
