Description	:	Rebecca Osborn was born December 27, 1819, in Guilford County, North Carolina, and moved with her parents to Hendricks County, Indiana, in the fall of 1833. She was married to George Hodson March 31st, 1838, and moved to Henry County, Iowa, in the fall of 1839, and has since lived here with the exception of two years in Jefferson County, Iowa. She was the mother of nine children, seven sons and two daughters. Six sons survive, Isaac N., William H.H., Zachariah L., James L. George, and Adrian. Read More	Rebecca Osborn was born December 27, 1819, in Guilford County, North Carolina, and moved with her parents to Hendricks County, Indiana, in the fall of 1833. She was married to George Hodson March 31st, 1838, and moved to Henry County, Iowa, in the fall of 1839, and has since lived here with the exception of two years in Jefferson County, Iowa. She had a birthright in the Friends Church and was a firm believer in that doctrine all her life. She died February 9th, 1904, trusting in her Savior and in the hope of a better life beyond the grave.
