She was 17 years old and would have been a senior at Camas High School in Camas, Washington this fall. Rebecca was born September 9, 1988, in Portland, Oregon. Read More	Rebecca Rose Blair drowned Sunday, August 6, 2006, while innertubing on the Washougal River near Washougal, Washington. She was 17 years old and would have been a senior at Camas High School in Camas, Washington this fall. Rebecca was born September 9, 1988, in Portland, Oregon. She was active in Lacamas Heights Community of Christ Church in Camas, Washington, Outreach International fundraising campaigns, and Christian youth programs. She was a gifted artist enrolled in the Art Instruction College and shared her beautiful voice through the Portland Symphonic Girls Choir ('99-'00) in Portland, Oregon, and many singing roles in school musicals, including Marta in "The Sound of Music." She was known for her beautiful smile, outgoing personality, and leadership qualities. She had a strong will for survival following a car accident last year and miraculous recovery from a traumatic brain injury. This inspired her to pursue a future career in Art Therapy. She is survived by her mother and father, Corrinne and Glenn Blair of Camas, Washington; grandparents, Paul and Beverly Blair of Camas, Washington, grandmother, Linda Doyle of Vancouver, Washington; uncle, Jeff Loshaw of Washougal, Washington; aunt and uncle, Sandra and Steve Cronbaugh; and cousins, Hannah and Elijah Cronbaugh of Battle Ground, Washington. Viewing was on Tuesday, August 15, 2006 at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Vancouver, Washington with a private family graveside service later in the week. A Celebration of Life gathering was held Sunday, August 20, 2006 at the Joyce Garver Auditorium (formerly Garfield Auditorium) in Camas, Washington. All were welcome. Please give in her honor to Outreach International at www.outreach-international.org or the Rebecca Blair Memorial Fund at any Riverview Bank branch in Clark County, Washington.
