Read More	Rena Quint Gallagher, 93, of Fryeburg, ME., passed away Tuesday, August 20th, while in residence at the Bella Point Fryeburg Assisted Living facility. Rena was born April 25th, 1926 in Conway NH. She was a graduate of Kennett High School. Rena married Ralph B. Gallagher of Fryeburg in October of 1945. They were married 33 years. Rena made a career as a homemaker and a stay at home mother. She had a great love of her flower gardens, knitting projects and her favorite thing, cleaning her house. They raised three children together, Larry, Jill and Todd. Although Rena never played sports she attended as many events as she could. She most often was found pushing her lawn mower and weeding her flowerbeds that many referred to as, the gardens spot of Stuart St. Rena did take her turn in the work force on different occasions in her life. She worked at the Maine St. Liquor store here in Fryeburg. She also did home day care for many children in town. She then was a cook at the Charles A Snow School in Fryeburg. And a housekeeping member at the Hicks Nursing Home on Oxford St. in Fryeburg. Rena was predeceased by her husband of 33 years, Ralph Gallagher. Also her mother Grace Purdy Quint and father Haven Earl Quint. Brothers; Theodore Quint, Richard Quint Sr., Arnold Quint and sister Margie Quint Sanders. She is survived by her brother Danny Quint Sr. and her son Larry B.Gallagher and wife Kathleen. Her daughter Jill Sanphy and husband Ronnie, and son Todd Gallagher. She is also survived by countless nieces and nephews. The family of Rena would like to thank each and every member of the Fryeburg Healthcare/Bella Point Fryeburg Assisted Living Facility for all the love and care that was given to our mother during her four year stay there. Words cannot express our thanks for the personal attention she was given. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made, on behalf of Rena, to the Bella Point Fryeburg Assisted Living Facility in Fryeburg or the Androscoggin Home Healthcare and Hospice, Lewiston, ME. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 28th at 11am at Pine Grove Cemetery in Fryeburg. Following the service, an ice cream reception will be held in the cafeteria at the Fryeburg Fairgrounds. Arrangements are under the care of Wood Funeral Home, 9 Warren Street, Fryeburg.
