ReNee’ being from a big city learned every aspect of ranch life and how hard the work can be. She was a wonderful mom and wife. She grew into all the phases of the job; cook, hired hand, school chauffer, gardener, chore girl, and all that came along. ReNee’ supported all her children activities from country one room school through Jr. High and High School. She Helped with Halloween parties (a holiday she liked), Christmas programs, and Science days.She was always taking a vehicle full of school kids to sports games,choir functions, and speech contests.ReNee’ helped with community Box Socials and square dance nights that her and Bob enjoyed. She was involved in Extension Club and later Hobby Club. Helped with church and summer Bible school. She helped all her children with 4-H projects as well as Leadership. She enjoyed reading immensely,sewing(where a lot of the family cloths weremade), canning and freezing food, she also prepared many a branding dinner with excellent pies for dessert, she made sure each of her children’s every birthday was special, and always seemed to make the home life fun.As time went by and the ranch life ended, she kept busy keeping up with all her grandchildren and great grandchildren until she couldn’t get out as much. She will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents: Frank and Edwina Galligher — step-father Joe Pack. Sister and brother-in-law Karlee and Cliff Green.Funeral services will be held November 7, 2014, at the United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Nebraska Veterans Cemetery.
