Description	:	BEST, Renford â€”90, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2009, in South Shore Regional Hospital where he was lovingly cared for by the staff of the medical floor. He was born in Crossburn, the son of the late William "Bill" and Ethel (Whynot) Best. Rennie enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and camping and spent many retirement years camping in Annapolis and fishing for bass. He is survived by his devoted wife of 67 years, Leila (Whynot); daughter, Kathy (Rae) Purdy, Pleasantville; son, Jim (Carmel), Hatchet Lake; grandchildren, Christine (Adam) Meisner; Christopher Best; as well as great-granddaughter, Ava Meisner; brother, Doug (Lina),... He was predeceased by sisters, Pearl and Elsie; brothers, Everette, Clayton and Franklyn. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held in Sweeny's Funeral Home, Bridgewater, on Saturday January 2, 2010 at 2 p.m., Rev. Norman Hovland officiating and Debbie Zwicker, organist.
