Description	:	Reta Lee Kleve, 81, of Central City, died on Friday, January 7, 2022 at Litzenberg Memorial Long Term Care in Central City. Memorial services will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Central City with Pastor Richard Kothe officiating. Read More	Reta Lee Kleve, 81, of Central City, died on Friday, January 7, 2022 at Litzenberg Memorial Long Term Care in Central City. Interment will be held at the Central City Cemetery. Reta was born on March 17, 1940 to Rynold and Minnie (Clauff) Butt in Central City. She grew up in Central City and graduated from Central City High School in 1958. She then married Carroll Kleve in September of 1958 in Central City. Following their marriage they moved around while he worked for the State Patrol, eventually settling in Norfolk in 1973. While in Norfolk, Reta received her RN degree, then in 1976, she moved back to Central City. While in Central City, she would go back to college at Kearney State and received her Master's Degree in Social Work. She then began working in Aurora, at Aurora Memorial Hospital as a Social Worker until the late 1980's. She would then retire and remain in Central City. Reta loved her social work. She was always proud of her time spent doing that. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, quilting, flying kites, and loved to work in her flower garden. She was a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Central City for many years. Those left to cherish her memory are her children; Brad Kleve of Norfolk, Joe Kleve of Norfolk, and Mike Kleve of Norfolk, her grandchildren; Amy (Curtis) Brugman of Norfolk, Emily Kleve of Fremont, and Danny Kleve of Norfolk, her great-grandchildren; Kinsley and Kallie Brugman of Norfolk. She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter; Lori Kleve, her brother; Louis Butt, and sister; Laree Gee.
