Description	:	Reuben Parish, age 81, pioneer citizen of Windfall, died at the home of his daughter Mrs. Armina Augdon, at New Paris, Ohio, at 2 p.m. Friday after a week's illness with complications incident to advanced years. He leaves surviving him six children, namely, Mrs. Armina Augdon, of New Paris, Ohio; Mrs. Nina Tingle, Richmond; Ellis Parish, New Paris, Ohio; Mrs. Lutie Coffee, Tipton; George and Charles Parish, Windfall. The remains will arrive at Windfall, at 1:02 p.m. Monday, funeral following at the Christian church at 2:00 o'clock, Rev. A. E. Gehres, officiating. Burial at the Windfall cemetery.... The deceased was a member of the Christian church and a charter member of the Windfall Masonic lodge. He came from the state of Missouri and took up residence at Windfall, assisted in the construction of the Panhandle railway in 1856-1857. His wife died at Windfall about 26 years ago and he continued in the old home property, some of the children living with him, until about three years ago when he went to live with the daughter at New Paris, at whose home he died. He was well known and highly respected at Windfall. Reuben was the son of David and Nancy Parish.
