Description	:	George Parish, lifelong resident of Windfall, died suddenly early last night at his home following an illness of two months. Mr. Parish, 67 years old, suffered, an attack of angina pectoris two months ago and early yesterday morning suffered a heart attack. A second attack shortly before 6 o'clock last night caused his death. The deceased was a concrete worker and an honest and respected citizen who leaves many friends in and around the community to whom the death came as a severe shock. Read More	George Parish, lifelong resident of Windfall, died suddenly early last night at his home following an illness of two months. Mr. Parish, 67 years old, suffered, an attack of angina pectoris two months ago and early yesterday morning suffered a heart attack. A second attack shortly before 6 o'clock last night caused his death. The deceased was a concrete worker and an honest and respected citizen who leaves many friends in and around the community to whom the death came as a severe shock. It was believed that he was recovering from his illness and Monday he went out for a walk. He was the son of Reuben and Margaret (O'Neill) Parish and was born in Windfall May 16, 1874. He received his education in the Windfall schools and had spent his entire life in that community. He was married Oct. 20, 1894, to Cora Smith who survives as the widow. Other survivors are two daughters, Marie Parrish at home, and Mrs. Garnet Draper of Marlon; five sons, Reuben Parrish of Windfall; Glenn and Claude of Marion; Kenneth, near Jonesboro; and Sgt. Leslie M. Parish who is on maneuvers in the south with the United States army. Frank Smith, a stepson, resides in Windfall, and there are 22 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Vinnie Pringle of San Francisco and Mrs. R. J. Coffey of Tipton, and two brothers, Charles Parrish of Windfall and Ellis Parrish of New Parish, Ohio. The body was removed to the Edwards funeral home and was returned to the residence Wednesday morning where friends may call. Final arrangements for the funeral have not yet been made.
