Died at Libertyville, Jefferson County, Iowa, on Wednesday the 14th inst., of Chronic Diarrhea, Dr. Peter Walker, aged 48 years and nine months. At the time of death he was First Assistant Surgeon of the 30th Regiment of Iowa Volunteers, and contracted the sickness of which he died, while in the discharge of his duties in that capacity.
