Description	:	Rev. R. H. Coulter, D. D., who has been seriously ill for several weeks, died Tuesday morning at 3:30. Dr. Coulter was a prominent minister in the Presbyterian church, a member cf the Pittsburgh presbytery, and having spent the latter part of his ministry in this presbytery, was well known to the people of this town and vicinity, who with deep regret will learn of his death. Dr. Coulter was a prominent minister in the Presbyterian church, a member cf the Pittsburgh presbytery, and having spent the latter part of his ministry in this presbytery, was well known to the people of this town and vicinity, who with deep regret will learn of his death. Dr. Coulter, wag born in Maryville, Tennessee and received his education at Maryville College and the Union Theological Seminary, N. Y. He was pastor of the following churches: Gallipolis and Fostorio, Ohio, and of Center and Wilson, Pa. Coulter was twice married, his first wife being Miss Ella Brown of Maryville, Tennessee to whom were born the following children: Mrs. Emma Sargent of Whittier, Cal.; Florence Maryville, Tenn.; Mrs. Ella Farrar or Donora. In 1896 he was married to Marcia, daughter of the late Nevin Brown. To this union was born one son, James Nevin Coulter. Dr. Coulter was a man of high scholarly attainments and thoroly versed in theological and general literature. He had a remarkable memory which enabled him to refer to literary works and anthems. He was of a genial manner and had many friend., in this community in which he had lived so long. In all matters pertaining to the public welfare he took a great interest. Funeral services will be held at his late residence, 130 West College street, on Thursday at 2.30 p. m., Interment in Oak Spring cemetery.
