Ewel Vaughan officiated. Interment was made in the Nelson cemetery (sic) at the side of her husband. Rhoda Ann Long, daughter of William Tower and Eva (Hutchinson) Tower, was born Dec. 19, 1873, near Fairfield, Nebr. Mrs. Long grew to young womanhood in Clay county (sic). She was united in marriage to Warren Long of Nelson Aug. 2, 1893, at Curtis, Nebr. They lived on a farm north of Nelson until 1902, when they moved to Nelson and made their home for the balance of their lives. Mr. Long preceded her in death March 18, 1945. She continued to make her home in Nelson until her death. Two children were born to this union: Will of Hebron and Mrs. Gladys (L.D.) Frost of Eureka, Mont. She is also survived by three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Walter, of Thomas, Okla., and a sister, Carrie, who is married and lives in Wyoming.
