Description	:	F. Warren Long, son of F.A. Long and Lucetta (nee Rausher) Long, was born near Burlington, Iowa, July 25, 1872. He passed away at his home in Nelson, on Sunday, March 18, 1945 at 8:45 p.m., aged 72 years, 8 months, 7 days. He came with his parents to Nelson in October, 1873. He has made his home here since, with the exception of a part of the year 1929. He was married to Rhoda Ann Tower, August 2, 1893, at Curtis, Nebraska. Long and Lucetta (nee Rausher) Long, was born near Burlington, Iowa, July 25, 1872. He passed away at his home in Nelson, on Sunday, March 18, 1945 at 8:45 p.m., aged 72 years, 8 months, 7 days. He came with his parents to Nelson in October, 1873. He has made his home here since, with the exception of a part of the year 1929. He was married to Rhoda Ann Tower, August 2, 1893, at Curtis, Nebraska. They observed their Golden Anniversary with their immediate family in 1943. To this union were born two children, Will and Gladys, both of Hebron. He has always been active and during the last years of his life operated a truck line. An accident on the truck two years ago, caused an injury that undermined his health and finally, with complications, caused his death. His main interest was in his home and family. In addition to his loving wife and children he leaves a brother and sister, Fletcher of Nelson, and Mrs. J.T. Phipps of Twin Falls, Idaho. Also three grandchildren, one great grandchild, many nieces and nephews and a host of friends. He has a grandson in the armed forces, now stationed at Thomasvile, Ga. Funeral services were held at the home Tuesday at 2 p.m., conducted by Rev. C.M. Foust and interment was in the Nelson cemetery (sic).
