Description	:	Rhoda was born the 6th of the 8 children of Hezekiah Crane Jr. and Sybil (Lamphire) Crane. She was the first child born to the Cranes, after Hezekiah returned from fighting in the American Revolutionary War. She was born January 8, 1783, and raised in East Windsor, Connecticut. On February 2, 1802, in East Windsor, Rhoda married Israel Allen Jr. She was 19 at the time. Rhoda and Israel raised all of their children in East Windsor.
